ESPRESSO CHOCOLATE SAUCE

1/3 cup strong coffee
2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

In a saucepan over low heat, cook and stir coffee and chocolate until chocolate is melted. Add sugar and butter; cook and stir until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract. Serve over ice cream. Makes 1 cup.
