SPICY RANCH DRESSING

8 chives, roughly chopped
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice, plus 1 lemon, zested
3 tsp hot sauce
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

In a blender, add the chives, garlic, buttermilk, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest and hot sauce. Blitz until smooth. Taste, then season with salt and pepper, to taste.
