1 loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch slices
3 eggs
3 cups milk
4 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
1 tsp cinnamon

Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Arrange the bread in the pan. Beat together next 5 ingredients. Pour over the bread evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Before baking, uncover and dot the top with butter; sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cut into squares and serve immediately with warm syrup. Serves 6-8
