1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp salt
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 large banana, mashed
2 tbsp lemon juice

Heat milk in a saucepan until very hot but not boiling. Mix next 3 ingredients into a boil and stir into the hot mix, beating until well blended. Pour back into pan and continue stirring vigorously over low heat for 4-5 minutes until very thick and smooth. Add yolks and cook for a few more minutes. Cool. Mash banana and beat until smooth; add lemon juice, stir mixture into cooled filling.
