BLOODY MARY CHICKEN

Category: Poultry I

V-8 or tomato juice
Vodka
Salt and pepper
Tabasco sauce
Lemon juice
Worcestershire sauce
Seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder and celery seed
Olive oil
4 (or more or less) skinless boneless chicken breasts

Mix 2 parts V-8 or tomato juice with 1 part vodka. Stir and taste. Add salt and pepper. Stir and taste. Add Tabasco, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and taste. Add garlic and onion powders and celery seed. Stir and taste. Add a dribble of olive oil. Make sure not to taste from here on.

Stir and pour what you haven’t imbibed into a Ziploc bag. Add 4 the chicken breasts and marinate overnight or up to 2 days. When it’s done marinating, throw the breasts on the grill or under a broiler, about 5-7 minutes per side. Serves 4
