FROZEN ICE CREAM DELIGHT

Crust
2 cups crushed cream-filled chocolate cookies
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1.2 gallon chocolate, coffee or vanilla ice cream, softened
Chocolate sauce
2 cups confectioners sugar
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
1 (8 oz) carton whipped topping
1/2 cup crushed cream-filled chocolate cookies
Crust: Combine first 3 ingredients and press into the bottom of an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish. Freeze for 15 minutes. Spread ice cream over crust. Freeze until firm, about 3 hours.
Meanwhile, combine first 4 sauce ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Allow to cool and spread over ice cream. Freeze for 15 minutes. Top with the topping ingredients and freeze until firm before serving. Freeze leftovers.
