CRISPY MILK CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Category: Cookies

2/3 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tbsp cold water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups pure milk chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350. Cream the butter and brown sugar together. Add the eggs one at time, beating after each. Add the water and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.

In another bowl, stir the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and beat until well-combined. Add the chocolate chips. Spoon the dough into walnut-sized mounds onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 minutes or until the cookies are light brown. Let them sit for a minute or two on the pan and then remove them to a wire rack to cool. Makes: 4-5 dozen cookies.
