GERMAN CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups dairy sour cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla

Heat oven to 350. In a large mixer bowl, blend first 4 ingredients on low until mixture is crumbly. Press lightly into an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish.

Beat next 4 ingredients until smooth and fluffy. Spread over cake mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients until smooth and spread over cheesecake. Cool.

Refrigerate at least 8 hours. Let sit at room temperature about 1/2 hour before cutting.
