ROCKY ROAD SMORE BARS

Base
1 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder and salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg yolks
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup milk chocolate chips
Topping
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups honey graham cereal squares
1 cup salted peanuts
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine base ingredients except marshmallows and chocolate chips; Beat until crumbly. Press mixture firmly in bottom of a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 12-15 minutes or until light brown. Immediately sprinkle with marshmallows and 1 cup chocolate chips. Bake 1 minute longer or until marshmallows just begin to puff. Cool while making topping.
In a large saucepan, cook all top
ping ingredients except cereal and peanuts over medium heat 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until butter and chocolate chips are melted. Stir in cereal and peanuts and immediately spoon topping evenly over baked base; spread gently to cover. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Cut into bars.
