HEARTY HAM GLAZE

1/4 cup sliced or chopped onion
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup water
2 tsp brown sugar and vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Sauté onions in butter. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. After ham has baked for about 1 hour, generously glaze then bake and additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally with glaze.
