SPICY CHEDDAR SPREAD

1/4 cup butter and cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp finely minced onion
1 tbsp sherry
2 tsp prepared horseradish and white Worcestershire sauce
5 drops hot sauce, or to taste
3 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

Beat cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Spoon into serving dish and cover tightly. Chill overnight. Serve cold. Serve with crackers, bread rounds or vegetables.
