PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE BARS

1 (16 oz) pkg white pound cake mix
3 large eggs
2 tbsp butter, melted
4 tsp pumpkin pie spice, divided
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Preheat oven to 350. In a large mixing bowl on low speed, combine cake mix, 1 egg, butter and 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice until crumbly. Press into bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, remaining 2 eggs, pumpkin, remaining 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice and salt. Mix well. Pour over crust, sprinkle nuts on top.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature, then chill in refrigerator. Cut into bars.
