1 10 oz. jar stemless maraschino cherries drained and halved
1 18 1/2 oz. pkg. spice cake mix (I used carrot cake mix)
1 stick butter melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
Glaze;
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice (I used the maraschino cherry juice)
1 to 2 tsp milk
Combine dry cake mix, melted butter, brown sugar, water, and eggs in large bowl with spoon or mixer until well combined and smooth. Stir in cherries. Spread batter into a well greased 13x9x2 pan.
Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until top springs back when touched. Allow to cool completely.
For glaze mix together all 3 ingredients to make a thick glaze. Drizzle
over cake and allow glaze to set. Cut into bars.
