CHOCOLATE PRALINE CHRISTMAS MUD SQUARES

3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs and finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar and butter, melted
1 (12 oz) jar caramel topping
3 tbsp flour
1 cup butter
4 (1 oz) square unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup flour
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Combine first 4 ingredients, stirring well. Press crumb mixture into bottom of a greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes. Cool slightly.

Combine caramel topping and 3 tbsp flour, stirring well. Spread topping on crust within 1/4 inch from edge of pan. Set aside.

Combine 1 cup butter and unsweetened chocolate in a saucepan, cook over low heat until melted. Stir in sugar and next 3 ingredients, pour mixture over caramel topping in pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool and spread with chocolate frosting. Lightly sift powdered sugar over frosting. Decorate with pecan halves.
