CHOCOLATE-NUT CRACKLE SAUCE

1/4 cup butter
1 (6 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup medium-fine chopped walnuts

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the walnuts and cook, stirring to prevent burning, until light golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate pieces until melted and smooth. Makes 1 1/4 cups. Put the sauce in a jelly jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
