SAUSAGE AND CANNELLINI STEW

2 tsp olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 fresh Poblano chile, seeded and chopped or 1/2 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies
1 clove garlic, minced
Coarse salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 lb kielbasa or other smoked sausage, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 can cannellini beans, undrained
1/4 cup dry white wine
Dash oregano, cumin and cayenne, to taste
In large sauce, heat oil and cook first 3 ingredients until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. Add sausage; cook and stir 3-4 minutes. Stir in beans and wine; add seasonings to taste and mix well. Cover and simmer 18-20 minutes. Serve hot.
