CARAMEL SAUCE

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
4 tbsp flour
1 cup boiling water
Dash salt
2 tbsp butter and cream
Vanilla extract, to taste

Mix sugar and flour in a saucepan. Add water and salt. Stir while cooking 6-8 minutes. If too thick, add a little more water. Remove form heat; stir in butter and cream and vanilla, to taste.
