PORK STUFFED MUSHROOMS

1 lb ground pork
1 egg, beaten
1 small green onion, minced
1 tbsp sherry and soy sauce
1/2 cup finely chopped onion and soft bread crumbs
1/8 tsp ground ginger and nutmeg
Salt and pepper
20 mushroom caps
In medium bowl, combine first 7 ingredients and shape mixture into 20 meatballs. Broil meatballs, turning occasionally until done. Set aside and keep warm. Place mushroom caps on a broiler rack and broil 3-4 inch from heat until heated through, about 2 minutes. Spear meatballs with toothpicks and place inside or atop mushroom caps. Serve at once.
