BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE

2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp corn syrup
1/4 cup butter
1/8 tsp salt
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk

Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in salt and evaporated milk. Serve sauce over warm ice cream.
