ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND VEGETABLE CHOWDER - Crock Pot

1/2 lb hot Italian sausage
1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
4 cups hot water
1/2 cup dry red wine
2 tsp beef bouillon granules
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clover garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 lb green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 medium carrots, peeled and diced
1 tsp oregano, crushed and salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 large zucchini, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 cup elbow macaroni
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Remove casing from sausage links, cut into 1 inch thick slices; set aside. Combine next 13 ingredients in a 4 quart crock pot. Gently stir in sausage slices. Cover on low 8-9 hours or until vegetables are almost tender. Turn control to high; add zucchini and macaroni. Stir, recover and cook on high 30-45 minutes longer or until zucchini and macaroni are tender. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with cheese. Serves 8
