FETTUCCINE WITH PROSCIUTTO AND ARTICHOKE HEARTS - Easy

1 pkg leek recipe mix
3 cups milk
1 pkg (9 oz) frozen artichoke hearts, thawed and quartered
4 oz sliced prosciutto, smoked turkey or ham, cut into thin strips
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz fettuccine, cooked and drained
In 2-quart saucepan, with wire whisk, combine leek recipe mix with milk. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and stir in artichoke hearts. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in prosciutto and cheese. Toss with hot fettuccine. Serve, if desired, with freshly ground pepper. SERVES 4
NOTE: I like to substitute about 2 cups fresh or frozen asparagus or green peas for the artichokes.
