CREAMY HAM AND MUSHROOM PASTA

1 (8 oz) pkg each plain and spinach linguine, cooked al dente, omitting salt
1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 clove garlic, pressed
D1 1/2 cups chopped cooked ham
1 (8 oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg, sage and dried thyme
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a skillet. Add chopped onion and garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes or until tender. Add ham and next 7 ingredients; cook, stirring constantly 3-5 minutes. Stir in whipping cream; cook, stirring constantly, 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in cheese; remove from heat. Add pasta to sauce mixture in skillet, tossing gently to coat. Serves 4
