BETTER THAN LOVE CAKE #4

1 pkg devils food cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 cups vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (8 oz) carton sour cream
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup pecans, chopped or crushed

Frosting
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 evaporated milk
Confectioners sugar

Grease and flour on tube or Bundt pan. Prepare the cake as directed on the pkg but using the ingredients above. Bake 50-55 minutes at 350.

Frosting: Combine all of the ingredients and cook, stirring constantly until it just comes to a boil. Add the evaporated milk and continue to cook until smooth. Remove from heat and add enough confectioners sugar to make it a spreading consistency. After the cake has cooled spread the frosting on top and sides and serve.
