DANISH SPICE COOKIES

2 1/4 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Filling
1 lb box confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened

Preheat oven to 350. Mix dough ingredients and spread in a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Set aside. Mix filling ingredients; spread over dough mixture. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
