Shelly's Recipe

HERB AND HONEY BBQ SAUCE

1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup oil and honey
12 oz pear nectar
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp prepared horseradish, dry mustard and salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
1/4 tsp dried rosemary leaves and pepper

Cook onion and garlic in oil until tender but not brown. Add remaining ingredients, simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Use for marinating and basting poultry or shrimp. Makes 1 pint
