1 1/4 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups peanut butter chips
1 1/4 cup chopped nuts, optional
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine dry ingredients and gradually blend into cream mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by tspfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-9 minutes. Do not over bake. Cookies will be soft; they will puff while baking and flatten while cooling.)
