CARAMEL ICE CREAM DESSERT

Crumble
1 1/3 cups flour
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar, chopped nuts, melted butter and quick cooking oats, uncooked

Caramel Sauce
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup evaporated milk

1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened

Stir together crust ingredients and press firmly into a lightly greased jellyroll pan. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to a wire wrack to cool When cooled, crumble.

Sauce: Bring ingredients to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil 3 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle half of crumbs into the bottom of a lightly greased 10 inch springform pan. Drizzle with half the sauce. Spread ice cream over sauce. Drizzle with remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Cover and freeze until firm.
