BRAISED BEEF - Easy

1 pkg onion soup mix
1 can tomato and cream of mushroom soups
3/4 cup dry red wine
2 lb stew meat
1 (8 oz) pkg mushrooms, sliced

Preheat oven to 250. Spray casserole with cooking spray. Combine first 4 ingredients and stir in beef and mushrooms. Cover the casserole and bake until very tender, about 4 1/2 hours.
