STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE FRENCH TOAST

1 cup ricotta cheese
3 tbsp powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
16 diagonal slices French or Italian bread
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 1/2 tbsp butter
2 cups strawberries, hulled and slices
Strawberry syrup

Stir together first 3 ingredients until smooth. Spread 8 slices of bread with mixture and top with remaining bread to form sandwiches. Mix together beaten eggs and milk. Melt butter in frying pan over medium heat.

Dip sandwiches in egg mixture and fry until golden brown on bother sides, about 5 minutes in all. Remove onto plate and garnish with strawberries. Serve with syrup.
