*TANGY BACON WRAPS*

3 cans water chestnuts, whole
1 pkg bacon strips
1 small bottle ketchup
1/2 cup peach preserves
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Wrap 1/2 slice of raw bacon around each water chestnut and secure bacon by sticking a toothpick through each center. Place wrapped water chestnuts on a rack in a shallow pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350. Drain grease as it bakes.

Meanwhile, prepare sauce. In a medium bowl, mix ketchup and remaining ingredients. Dip wrapped water chestnuts in sauce mixture and return to oven for 15 minutes. Repeat procedure and bake another 15 minutes. Makes approximately 36.
