BARBECUED SPARERIBS WITH HONEY GINGER GLAZE

1 slab sparerib, about 3 pounds each
1 cup catsup
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp corn starch
1 medium onion,
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 large cloves garlic, crushed

Pour water in 2 shallow broiler pans. Place ribs on a rack over water. Cover with foil. Bake 1 hour until tender. In saucepan mix remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Remove foil and pour out water from pans. Brush generously with sauce and broil 3 to 4 inches from heat source for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn and repeat with other side. Serves 4
