Shelly's Recipe

HE MAN BARBECUE SAUCE

2 1/4 cups ketchup and water
1 cup cider vinegar
2 tsp instant beef broth and Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 tsp dry mustard
1 tbsp chili powder and lemon juice
1 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder and liquid smoke
2 dashes liquid hot pepper sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar

Bring ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. If not using immediately, cool and refrigerate. Will keep several weeks. Can be frozen. Makes 1 quart
