COCKTAIL MEATBALLS

Sauce
1/2 cup minced onion
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp Dijon mustard
5 tbsp vinegar
4 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 1/2 cups chili sauce
Meatballs
3 lb ground beef, pork and veal, mixed
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp alt
Pepper
1 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp butter
Combine meatball ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a jelly-roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until brown.
Meanwhile, make sauce by sauteing onions until brown and combining remaining ingredients in a saucepan; mix well. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Add meatballs. Place meatballs in sauce to keep warm in a chafing dish. Serve with toothpicks.
