SPAGHETTI SAUCE

1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce with Italian herbs and spices
1 medium sweet onion, diced
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil and chopped parsley
5 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
3/4 lb 80% lean ground chuck
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/2 tsp fennel seed
Saute onions in pre-heated olive oil until transparent. Add garlic and sauté another 3 minutes. Add ground beef, half of the basil and half of the parsely, the pepper and brown, stirring so that herbs, pepper, onions, garlic and beef are well mixed. Pour in both cans of tomato sauce, rest of parsley and basil and the fennel seed. Raise heat to medium until mixture begins to bubble. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for one hour.
