PRALINE COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar and packed brown sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 375. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, flour and vanilla; mix well. Stir in pecans. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven; let stand 2 minutes before removing from baking sheet. Cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
