Brownies
1 pkg fudge brownie mix
1 cup oil
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp ligh or dark rum
1 egg
3/4 cup chopped almonds
Filling
1 (8 oz) pkg craem cheese, softened
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 (5 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
2 tbsp light or dark rum
1 egg
3/4 cup chopped almonds
Topping
1/2 cup semissweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup chopped almonds, toasted
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking pan.
Brownies: Comibne ingredients and beat for 1 minutes with a spoon. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake 26-33 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
Filling: Beat cream cheese and confections sugar in a small mixing bowl until smooth. Add chocolate chips and rum. Beat until well blended. Spread filling over brownies. Chill at least 1 hour or until firm.
Topping: Melt chocolate with whipping cream until smooth, stirring constantly. Spread over filling. Sprinkle almonds on top and chill at least 1 hour or until selt. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
