ORANGE OVEN FRENCH TOAST

Pan Coating
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 tsp honey
2 tsp cinnamon
16 (1 inch thick) slices French bread
2 oranges, sliced

Batter
6 eggs
1 cup milk and orange juice
2 tsp grated orange peel
1/2 tsp salt and cinnamon

Heat oven to 400. In a small bowl, combine first 3 ingredients of the pan coating; mix well. Pour mixture evenly into 2 ungreased jelly-roll pans.

In a bowl, beat together the batter ingredients. Dip bread in egg mixture. Place on butter mixture in pans. Pour any remaining egg mixture over bread. Ad this point, bread can be covered and refrigerated overnight. Uncover and bake as directed; 10 minutes, turning slices over and baking an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown. Arrange on serving platter with orange slices.
