TEX MEX CHOPS

Category: Pork - Chops and Steaks

4 boneless pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 cup chunky style salsa
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, undrained
1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, brown chops in oil on 1 side about 2 minutes; turn and add salsa, cumin and chilies to skillet, lower heat, cover and simmer gently for 6 minutes. Uncover, top each chop with one tbsp cheese. Cover and simmer an additional 1-2 minutes, until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
