THAI BARBECUE SAUCE for CHICKEN

1/2 cup packed grown sugar and soy sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried crushed red pepper
3/4 tsp curry powder

Combine all ingredients; set 1/2 cup aside. Pour remaining 1/2 cup over chicken in a zip-lock bag. Seal and chill at least 4 hours, turning occasionally. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding. Brush reserved sauce over chicken during grilling, turning and basting occasionally.
