MARINATED BARBECUED PORK CHOPS

6 to 8 (1-inch-think) pork loin or rib chops 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup olive oil and lemon juice
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
6 bay leaves, halved 3 cloves garlic, crushed

Trim excess fat from pork chops, and place chops in a large shallow container. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; pour over chops. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning once.

Remove pork chops from marinade, reserving marinade. Grill over medium coals 40 to 45 minutes or until desired degree of doneness. Turn and baste occasionally with reserved marinade.
