FIESTA BURGERS

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 hamburger buns, split in half-and-half
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
Dash pepper
1 cup shredded processed hot pepper cheese

In a small bowl, cream both butter and garlic powder. Spread evenly on buns. in a bowl, combine meat and remaining ingredients; mix and shape into 6 (1/2 inch) patties. In a skillet, toast buttered buns while cooking patties, uncovered, over medium low heat, 12-15 minutes or until brown and no longer pink in center, turn once.
