BBQ PORK BURGERS

2 lb ground pork
1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
Red Hot Sauce to taste
Sauce
2 tbsp dry mustard
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup cider vinegar
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup minced onion
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 cups coleslaw
6 sesame hamburger buns
Potato chips
Sauce: Melt butter in a sauce pot and saute onions and garlic until softened. Add remaining sauce ingredients and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer sauce to a bowl and cool.
Burgers: Combine ground pork with breadcrumbs and 1/2 cup of sauce and form into 6 patties. Season burgers with salt and pepper. Heat barbeque to a medium-high heat. Grill burgers on an oiled rack, basting often with remaining sauce and turning several times, until just cooked through. They should cook for about 5 minutes per side.
Transfer burgers to buns. Top with coleslaw and serve with potato chips on side. Serves: 6
