SCALLOPS APPETIZER from RED LOBSTER

11/2 lb sea scallops
1/2 - 1/4 lb bacon (thin sliced, low in salt)
2/3 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup white wine (Chablis or Rhine)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp seasoned salt (to taste)

Cut bacon in half and cut halves lengthwise. Wrap bacon around scallops and secure with a toothpick.

Mix white wine and lemon juice, pour mixture over scallops, place in refrigerator and marinate for 1/2 hour. Place scallops in a shallow baking dish and pour melted butter over scallops and sprinkle with paprika and seasoned salt.

Bake in oven at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Check scallops after 15 minutes, oven may be placed on broil for a few minutes until the bacon is crispy. Serve immediately.
