1 lb chicken livers cut into quarters
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sherry
1/2 tsp paprika
2 clovers garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger
1 (8-oz) can sliced water chestnuts, halved
16 slices of bacon, halved
1 cup brown sugar

Marinate livers in the next 5 ingredients. Cover overnight. Wrap 1/2 slice bacon around piece of chicken liver and water chestnut slice. Secure with wooden toothpick. Dip in brown sugar. Arrange on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp and chicken livers are done.
