GARDEN SCALLOPED POTATOES

6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into slices
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup chopped purple onion
3 tbsp chopped dried tomato
2 cloves large garlic, minced
2 tbsp flour
2 cups whipping cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp each chopped chives and parsley
1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary and salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese and shredded parmesan cheese
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, tomato and garlic; sauté until tender. Add flour, stirring until blended. Gradually add whipping cream, milk and cream cheese, stirring until smooth. Stir in chives and next 4 ingredients; cook, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes. Combine potatoes and cream sauce in a lightly greased 11x7 inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cheeses; bake, uncovered, 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
