HERBED BUTTER SAUCE

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 tsp dried basil, oregano, and tarragon, crushed
1/2 tsp snipped chives
1/4 tsp dried thyme, crushed
Dash pepper

In a small saucepan melt butter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook 1 to 2 minutes to blend flavors. Serve with grilled fish or vegetables. Makes 8 servings.
