OUTRAGEOUS FRENCH TOAST

1 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp corn syrup
5 tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
16 slices bread, crusts removed
Sour cream
Strawberry slices

Over low heat, stir together first 4 ingredients until blended. Pour into a 13x9 inch baking dish. Spread evenly on the bottom. Place 8 bread slices over mixture, squeezing to fit, if necessary. Place remaining 8 slices on top.

Beat eggs and remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. To serve, cut into slices, and then flip over onto plate with a spatula, caramelized side up. Garnish with sour cream and strawberries on top.
