CHEESEBURGER CHOWDER

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 cup grated American cheese
1 3/4 cup milk
1 cup frozen shredded hash browns
1 (4 oz) can green chilies, chopped
1 tbsp taco seasoning and dried onion flakes
1/4 tsp chili powder and black pepper

In a large saucepan, brown beef and onion; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until blended and heat until boiling. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
