CHEESY RICE CASSEROLE

1 cup uncooked instant rice
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 cup sour cream
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 tsp pepper

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add salt and butter. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Stir in remaining ingredients.
