JERKY MARINADES
Category: Marinades
Smoky:
1 cup liquid smoke
4 cups soy sauce
2 cups teriyaki sauce
1 lb dark brown sugar
1 tbsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Savory:
1 (10 oz) bottle Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce
1 (1.5 oz) bottle liquid smoke
Sweet and Sour:
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar and pineapple juice
Enough for 1 LB sliced meat
Teriyaki:
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
Enough for 1 pound sliced meat
Western barbeque:
1 tsp salt, dry mustard and onion powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/3 cup red wine vinegar and ketchup
Enough for 1 pound sliced meat
Mix ingredients until sugar is dissolved, slice meat into thin strips, place meat in marinade; soak in refrigerate for 2 hours. Put meat flat on cookie sheet in oven at 150 for 6-8 hours.
